I just bought a 2000T to replace my Icecrypt (which is awful) and i like it, like it a lot. However the Humax portal is rubbish, only 12 apps? Any reports of this being improved?

Also i can see my Humax on my network but only as a media device, any way to access from my PC to look at the folder/files?

As I assume you know you can access content with a DLNA client on the PC eg Windows Media Player or VLC. The only way to access files is via the FTP server on the Humax. If it is ever possible to port the custom firmware from an FOX-HDR T2 to the HDR-2000T then all sorts of possibilities open up; SAMBA shares, NFS etc.
