Thank you, I did think the RAM was low but machine does look old, so understandable. Will try it but if I lose channels I regularly watch, won't be beneficial.
You can tell which channels are carried by which multiplexes by looking at http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/channels/channel_listings I would suggest the BBC A mux, the DS3&4 mux and one other mux.
