The problem I have is when recording a programme my Humax records the one I want ie at 8pm but then also records it if it is repeated again in the same week so I end up with a few recordings of the exact same programme. Is there something I may be doing wrong?

You are almost certainly doing nothing wrong...
It is the broadcaster(s) not using crid codes (series/programme link codes) correctly - eg C5 and Quest

OK. Thanks. So basically there isn't anything that will help to eliminate the problem? Do you know if this will be corrected in the future?

I have duplicate progs being recorded at all times of the day and night. They have never been perfect but I think they have now given up any pretence of bothering.
