    Hi all,
I am trying to connect the Internet for TV Portal to my new Humax HDR-FOX T2 Freeview+ HD Twin Tuner with 1TB. From my Thomson internet router Ethernet connection.

Should the FTP server be ON? I put this one ON

    I went to configure Lan.
Then configure IP and selected DHCP which gave an
    IP address
    Netmask
    Gateway Address
    DNS Address

Then clicked apply, message said: Network Connected.

But on using the TV Portal an error message appears saying: An error occurred launching the application.

Putting the address into internet explore on my computer using the same router takes me there ok,
But would not connect to the support link?

    Any help very welcomed,
    Mick.

See this sort of problem reported now and again. I must be lucky has never come across it, however try something as simple as a reboot of your HDR T2, ie place into and out of standby.

    Hi Barry,
I had just found the notes on setting up the connection for new users, and saw about re booting, did that and yes all ok.

I will make sure I now read all the files before trying anything else
