This is really odd! I came on here because we were having problems last night. Went to check sw and have 1.02.20. Went back to see if anything had changed and uploaded two prgrammes on iPlayer with no problems!

Radio was back sometime before 18:00 yesterday. I’m not sure when the TV came back for those who lost it as I normally use version 1.03.06 for iPlayer and that version was unaffected for iPlayer TV.
It wouldn't surprise me if it was fixed at the same time.

Regarding 1.2.20 the only practical reason I know for keeping it is the Audio Description is excellent for SD TV. Version 1.02.32 is available from Humax (http://beta.humaxonline.co.uk/downloads/hdr-foxt2) and offers some improvements in other areas, including the ability to stream files over 4GB and a much improved auto-tuning function.

This problem returned back to the 1.02.xx software about two weeks ago. e.g. in February. The BBC have washed their hands of it saying they don't support the device so this one is down to Humax. Barry spoken to Humax about this issue and are they working to fix it ?.

The radio works fine on 1.03.xx but obviously for HD owners there is no 1.03.xx software for them to use. I'm getting tired of booting the box that I use part of the week in 1.03.xx with no ability to record, although back home 1.03.xx is fine. But this is all rather stupid since owners haven't been given the official 1.03.xx software and as such the radio part of the iPlayer has stopped working. What's Humax doing about it.

Thank you Barry since the BBC has washed there hands of it in reply to me reporting it.

Are you planning to put the people out of their misery on what the enhancement is to 1.03.xx that nobody has yet spotted.

Also on cud chewing you probably saw in the Guardian that all terrestrial broadcaster plan to reduce their investment in Youview since they are supporting pay TV operators (BT / TalkTalk) and re-invest in porting players back to TV products via an industrial standard for TVs. The BBC was unhappy to use license fee payers money in this way. I wonder how this leaves Humax and whether we might ever see players for the HDR and other products now the throttle hold of Youview may be changing. April is when Youview finances will be re aligned.
