Hello (and help please!).
I've an HDR T2 and a new Samsung TV (with ARC supported HDMI port). My plan is to connect a samsung sound bar between the two using HDMI; the ARC element will ensure the audio returns from the TV 'back' to the sound bar.
Given that there are many reports about sound 'drop-outs' using sound bars, I'm wondering if my plan might be compromised as my source will be my HDR-T2 (with no ARC on the HDMI) rather than the TV itself as the only source.
If I didn't use the HDR-T2 and viewed TV from the TV itself I would eliminate this risk. But I want to use the HDR-T2 as the source. Is the lack of ARC on the Humax likely to be a problem (or cause drop-out) does anyone know?. I know i could buy a sound bar to try out but that is the financial risk I'm hoping avoid. Thank you for any ideas, Jemm.

I use the Panasonic SC-HTB15 with my Panasonic tv and Humax HD 100 S no problems except that the Humax box does not accept Viera Link instructions.
