Had a funny last night. Watching one recording when the one-off recording for the Bethany Hughes lecture programme started - twice in fact (both on BBC HD) which threw up a recording conflict message. It seemed to sort itself before I had made any sort of choice which left me with one zero-length bad recording (no surprise, no problem) and the other one kept going. Except that it was now showing an odd actual start and end time and did not stop even after being well into the following programme - so a runaway recording. Stopped it manually but then I turned the box off but it only went into recording standby with the little clock icon showing (but no REC icon). Left it till morning and it was still like that so power-cycled it.
I hope this not an unwelcome extra gifted to us by the new firmware.
