Hi, I'm a noobie to this forum after discovering I could flash my FOXSAT-HDR with a custom firmware to get all the lovely features such as web access, ftp, samba, twonky etc.

I'm now wondering if you clever people have found a way to stream live tv from the humax tuner(s) via the Twonky server or some other means? Is it even possible?

You can stream the timeshift buffer file (0.ts) a little behind real time (It works for HD too )

VLC won't handle it very well on my Laptop but Nero Kwik Media works a treat

It worked! However I couldnt find the 0.ts file using the web media browser, but had a "Eurika moment" and tried to edit the url in the VLC player to point to 0.ts and it worked like a charm.

It runs about 20-30 seconds behind live as you suggested.
Had no problems using the VLC player on the laptop (but it was hard-wired ethernet to my LAN)

Thanks a million for the advice (its almost life changing )
