I'm getting freezing/interference on my TV looped through this box, never happened with the humax it has replaced

Are you talking about with the box on, or in sby ? If in sby turn off power saving in sby.

At 10.8Km fom a high power transmitter you could more than likely use a coat hanger for reception. If your aerial was set up to use pre-dso power output, there's more than a good chance your signal strength is too high.

Thanks Graham, not had chance to try out an attenuator this weekend.
Am getting grief off wifey over the box not turning on though....same problem as other thread here.

Why not try a passive splitter - which is what I did with my 2000T. The 2T had all sorts of issues when I used loop-through. Tried a £2.00 passive splitter and not had any issues since.

Just to follow up I have used a variable attenuator to get the signal strength down to around 75% and the stuttering is gone.
