Loading from USB Slow

    Humax Foxsat HDR (320 GB)
    When I load photos or music files via the USB port it takes ages. Does this in any way depend on the read/write speed of the memory stick? The flashing light on the stick is not constant and the progress bar stops and starts during upload.
