Have a good look here and on avforums but cant seem to find anywhere that explains how to reset it.

Do you mean the FTP passwords or the Web Interface user access passwords ?

    Hi

I have loaded the amazing media file sharing bundle and can now play recordings from The Foxsat on my pc etc but cannot log into the web interface. This happened abruptly - up pops a user name and password box with "The server foxsat-hdr at Foxsat-HDR requires a username and password". I have tried "humaxftp" and "0000" but to no avail! Anyway of resetting or fixing? Thanks

Do you have access to the HDR using telnet or FTP ?

If you can access with ftp/telnet you can go back to an earlier version of your mongoose set up. With luck this won't have the password specified.

Using FTP or telnet navigate to the directory Foxsat-HDR/opt/etc

You should see two mongoose config files called 'mongoose.conf' and 'mongoose.conf.old'

If 'mongoose.conf.old' dates from before you set the password it should be password free.

To restore it, rename the current 'mongoose.conf' to something else like 'xmongoose.conf'. Then restore the earlier set up by renaming 'mongoose.conf.old' as 'mongoose.conf'

Stop and start mongoose using 'service toggle mongoose' and then try your web browser again.

I'm sure there's probably a neater way, but I just tried this and it worked for me.
