I have just bought a Humax-HDR-2000T with Freeview.
I have set it up ok and can connect to the Internet via WiFi successfully.

The supplied User Manual is not very detailed in describing using the Internet/LAN and so I have the following questions.

How do I get hold of an ITV-Player App onto my Humax?
How do I get a Google App onto my Humax?
When in Humax TV Portal the Back key does go back to previous screens and the only way to get back is via the Exit key which shuts down the portal?
I know there's a number of questions here, but I'd be grateful if someone has anyanswers.

    Welcome to our Forum

    1. ITV player is not available, so you cannot add it.
    2. Google app is not available, so you cannot add it.
    3. Where exit has no effect just press the portal button to be taken back to home screen.

Freeview - A Youview box will give you all the on demand players, but for PVR functions it is dire see FAQ for details.

Freesat - A freetime box will provide access to BBC iplayer, itv player, 4OD and Demand 5 plus youtube.

    Thanks again Barry.
Do you know if Humax will ever put ITV Player on the 2000T? Wouldn't people would want it?

According to freesat ITV are known to be working on a new ITV player for that platform. It would be logical for them to use one server infrastructure for all platforms.

Perhaps that is why it is currently not available?

    Thanks for info Repassac.
There's hope then for those with 2000T boxes to get an update in the future.
