Hi, I bought the FVP-5000T in part because it had the Netflix button. When I press it I get unable to connect to Netflix. On speaking to netflix they said they have a problem with some devices and do not know when it will be sorted. On demand comes up as not available at moment as well. All these functions work on my LG smart tv so whats going on?

Both of these imply a network connectivity issue. How is your FVP-5000T connected to your router?
If the FVP-5000T is like Humax other models it will try and connect to a specific url. If it is unable for any reason to resolve the url and connect you will get these symptoms.

Hi Repassac, It is connected using a TP link. The PVR is fully connected and will access Youtube just not Netflix.

Is it a model with power saving features?
Other users, with other Humax models, have had problems with models with such features not going back into active mode. This may be just mistiming between the unit and the TP link.

You could try disabling the power saving feature on the TP and rebooting your Humax.

Power saving is off. Netflix says the problem is not the device I,m using and that it is there fault.Very frustrating as Humax are selling units that cannot do what advertised. I have emailed Humax to see what they can do. I do not think Currys will refund for the item. Going to try a factory reset.

Sorted, factory reset and connected using WLAN and worked first time. Just hope it does not be a regular thing.

I take back the suggestion above (Humax are selling units that cannot do what advertised.) My mistake, got it working fine now. I had Humax before and rate them, thats why I bought one again. Thanks for your replies.
