I have a NEW 9200T which I was given about three years ago, it was a gift that never got used as I already had a 8000T which worked nicely, any way I plugged this 9200t in and it wont record. Picture freezes but still can be heard behind but remote wont work and the thing wont record. not sure if its the clock board problem as its new but any ideas I would like to put it to work and relagat e the 8000T to the spare room. Thanks

Do you have the clock displayed in STANDBY? What software version is installed? Do you have Record as a menu item? What type of recording have you tried, instant record, timer record....?

Try bringing it out of standby with the aerial removed; if you then have control do a reset to default settings, put the box into standby, connect the aerial and do another reset to default settings.

Software version 1.00.23 would be better but is probably not causing the problem. When you say "not showing a HD in the menu" what exactly do you mean?

Do you have Games listed at the bottom of the menu list?

Tip. HD is an abreviation for High Definition, HDD is used for Hard Disk Drive.
