just set up a WHYFI dongle with my bedroom 2000T, I can now play recordings on my big lounge LG TV via wifi.WOOHOO! menu on my TV shows ALL my recordings, but when I select an HD recording it says 'no info or data in file/folder' which is incorrect.
It plays SD recordings fine ( though picture quality poor on big telly)
been over settings several times, I am stumped!
can anyone explain this ? my wifi says 65mb/s

The HDR-2000T does not support the necessary DCTP-IP protocol for HD programmes.
The older HDR-FOX T2 which the HDR-2000T in some respects is a cut down version could. Even the ability to do this with the HDR-FOX T2 and HD recordings, will depend on the TV also supporting DCTP-IP.

By the way, whether you connect to your home network via a Wi-Fi dongle, or an Ethernet cable, does not change the situation.
