After 12 months of trouble-free viewing my 1800 shows lack of or no signal on a group of channels. All others are fine.Happened overnight and with no warning.Problem channels are 32,11,17,12,132 . Is there a common denominator here ?
Thanks

Welcome to our Forum
They are all carried on ARQ A multiplex along with a few others.
Try, for example, Channels 29, 36, and 48, should be same result for you as these I believe are also carried on same mux.
Edit: hehe beat him to it for once

Hi welcome to our forum. You appear to have lost the ArqA (COM5)multiplex (MUX).

Could be a transmitter issue, posting which transmitter would help to check for engineering problems.
You can see all the channels on COM 5 for Sutton Coldfield here

Thanks guys. I get my programmes from Mendip - I suppose it could be a problem there.

Thanks guys. I get my programmes from Mendip - I suppose it could be a problem there.I can't see any reported problems. I imagine your box has a similar UI to my HDR FOX T2.
Can you check the signal strength/quality on UHF 56 as follows :
Menu - Settings - Installation - (default pin 0000) - manual search - channel 56 - Transmission DVB-T
Signal strength and quality is at bottom of screen.
Press Exit
Check your epg to see if the missing channels are found at the top of your epg.

Thanks - will try.Theory is that you may have picked up COM 5 on UHF 53 from the Welsh Moel-Y-Parc transmitter on a auto tune. This transmitter has a large overlap of service area with Mendip. The solution if this is the issue is to manually tune to Mendip only.
