    Hello there!

My dish is pointed at the standard 28.5 for Freesat, which is great. I wouldn't mind getting RTE channels to go along with the radio stations, without moving the dish and simply adding an offset LNB (a single would do) could I do this?

What size dish, you do know you need a ka band lnb for Saorsat, not the usual ku band ?

I did not know that, but the info could prove useful.

The dish is a standard Sky style black minidish.

No expert but at a guess you would need a 80cm dish. A local satellite installer should know. Sky dishes use non standard lnb's, you wont get a ka band with a feedhorn shape designed for a sky minidish.

Ah, probably too much trouble, I'll settle for looking into online streaming for the RTE channels, no way I'm forking out cash for a whole new dish.

    Thanks for the help though!

Can't you get the terrestrial service ?

I was assuming you were in the republic. Saorsat is very hard to get outside the republic geographical area, next to no overspill.
