My apologies if this has been asked before - but a forum search did not return any responses. Is it possible to display the time on screen with this machine? I really miss the real time display in the time bar when live TV is paused and wondered if this alternative was possible? Thanks, Roger

    Welcome to our Forum

If watching live TV then you can press play, OK or guide.

If watching a recording the only way I have found is pressing guide.

Thanks Barry for the swift response. Much quicker than Humax Customer Support. All that you have said is possible, thank you. What I like to do is pause live TV while I'm waiting for the news to come on (whilst I pour something cold and alcoholic) and then switch off the pause when the time comes up close to 18:00. Any idea why the digital clock was removed from the front panel - that was good enough for me? R-

Can only assume clock was removed as a cost cutting measure.

I've had a 9200 and 9300 for years and just switched to the 4000, I hate not being able to see what channel I'm on now that the front display has gone. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it was useful.

Ok - thanks. Can I also ask, if I set up the remote to operate the TV as well (Universal Remote Control) how do I undo that if I am not happy with the outcome? R-

It was useful, in many ways. I would be happy if there was a way to bring the info up on screen though. R-
