PBS America launched on Freeview LCN 94

    PBS America launched today on channel 94. Guessing it must be on COM 7 or COM 8 as not found om my FVP-5000T.

    Just smart retuned a 5000T.....PBS America is on Com 8

    I have read the wikipedia page and its supposed to be known for some high quality, independent style programming. Perhaps someone can report if its any good.

    Im hesitant to retune at the moment as I delete most channels from my menu anyway. This might be worth a look though

    Com8 has 8 other channels. As a one off is that really a great burden for you to delete the channels out of those 8 that would be restored if you retuned com8?

    Very useful info, thanks.

    I smart retuned (having first filmed the 5000T's heavy recording schedule with my iPod) and didn't lose a single scheduled programme.

    Very impressive!

    It's one of the few channels SD channels that I watch on Freesat. If you have any interest in some very interesting mostly historic content it's worth a look at.

    Thats true. I could do a manual tune on the Com 8 channel.
