    Hi,

is it possible to play files (video music or photos) that live on my PC from my Hummy?
I can see my PC by going to Media > Storage > Network
When i press OK i see the "Connecting..." dialog but after a while nothing happens.
I've tried sharing various folders on my PC but still nothing.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this not possible?
BTW, I can see video on my laptop that lives on my Hummy. Portal works OK too.

    Software version: FHTCP 1.02.20
    Loader version: a7.30

I've looked through various Posts/FAQs and so far not found any info.
    Thanks,
    Steve

Yuo need a program running on your P.C. that acts as a DNLA server, There is a basic DNLA built into Windows Media Player, Setup with Library >> Media Sharing. For something more than a Basic DNLA server have a look HERE

Thanks for that. Is there a full list on here of video files supported? So far looks like .avi and .flv are not supported but MP4 are.

Thanks Podman. Interesting. I tried another .avi file and it worked which is great. Don't understand why it doesn't play the .avi files though. They are recordings done with my Laptop Webcam and they defo show up as .avi files.
    Anyway, no biggie.
