Hi,
Help please!
I have a 500t and 400t on the same network.
I am trying to access and play recordings on the 5000t that already exist on the 4000t. It seems that going to MEDIA/VIDEO shows me 5 entries FVP-4000T:39 and one FVP-4000T Media on the left. Selecting the Media one gives me an Upper Folder but selecting that shows nothing although 'connecting' flashes up.
If I select the first of the :39 options it displays the folders and recordings on the 4000t showing Time and Date of recording but all lengths are zero. Selecting any tries to play them but as the are zero length nothing shows. The other 4 4000t items comes up "no video file available".
The 4000T is connected via Wifi and the 5000T by wire to router.
No password options are set up on either.

I don't have two FVP devices so can't help here but I believe forum poster "batteryman" has two FVP devices and has reported that what you are trying to do does work. There is a thread on this forum covering this but I can't locate it. However I am puzzled as to why you see a device shown as FVP-4000T:39. I am guessing ":39" refers to a TCP port number and if so that is not a commonly used port. (Google Port 39). However I do have a HUMAX FOX-T2 and can confirm that media streaming does work (but not for HD recordings). Please can you check that the media server is running on the 4000T.

Thanks Graham.
It seems to have sorted itself now. Can access each other to play recordings.

It does from the 4000 watching on the 5000. Pretty sure for the other way as well.
