I have a Humax Foxsat HDR and Freesat.

Four of the BBC Olympic HD channels are breaking up badly for me. They are 156, 162, 163 and 169, which I have identified as the four channels broadcast on the 12411V transponder.

Does anyone have any idea why I would be getting poor signal on just one transponder, and what I could try to fix it?

Only 1 transponder would suggest radio interferance. Try turning off DECT phones (unlug) and swich off anything electrical near the Foxsat - except the TV.

Thanks! Turning a few things off seems to have much improved the signal. Not perfect, but watchable.

What's the signal strength/quality like? It might be worth checking the dish and LNB position. I've seen a situation (with Sky) where certain TV channels would disappear when it was raining because the beam was slightly off.

Correcting the dish position cured the problem.
