I've just recently got a replacement receiver after having lots of problems. Yesterday while recording 2 programmes there was a power failure. When I went to connect to the internet there wasn't any wireless networks available. I think that there was a fault with the wireless module and it caused a short that made the receiver reboot. This is why I couldn't detect any routers. The only way to get it to work again is to switch the power off/on at the socket. I had this problem with my other receiver. As anyone else had this problem?

It might be a driver rather than hardware issue.
I've had the same thing, with the WiFi adpater not finding networks with this firmware. Before that, no issue.
For now, use a wired connection if you can. If you can't, I recommend you don't have remote recording enabled - you'll get failed recordings if you do.
