My wife asked me what was wrong with the Humax Foxsat HDR.

She had pressed the "i" remote button expecting to get the current programme and times displayed, however the programme info displayed was from 13:15 and the current time was 18:06. Using the right and left button worked fine but not after pressing "i" on the remote. Still got same problem nearly 3 hours later. Normally you cannot get the previous programmes on the display.

Running Radyon 4.1.1 custom software, not been an issue in 4 years since installed.

    Anyone any ideas?

Try removing the power for 10 mins. After restoring power let the box reboot to start the clock and shut down. Re-boot and see if the problem exists. The symptoms suggest the internal clock has failed.

Snoopy - noticed the same problem on my HDR. Tried unplugging, but no improvement. Is it something to do with the epr, seeing as we are both having the same problem. I hope it sorts itself out.

We could always blame the Nort Koreans, they seemed to get blamed for most things

Ok thanks Graham, will check that again, did power off and waited a couple of minutes, maybe not long enough, it shows the correct time on the top line of the "i" display but the programme is still from 13:15, and does not change. Guide works fine as well. Telnet shows the system time correct as well. But yes could be the clock chip, I guess it must get its time from the satellite or NTP as its networked, although NTP often doesn't correct the time if its too far out of sync.

My programmes are recording okay, despite the info being stuck at 16.00 hrs. When I am on the epg, I cannot jump to a different channel, so I have set the channel number manually.

Just joined to add my name to the list of people with this issue!

    also tried:
    - Switching off & on
    - Unplugging at wall & plugging back in
    - Looking for software update (nope!)

Somewhat comforted it's not just us.
