Hi , Same issue in Hampshire -- with Foxsat HDR ( few years old now)
tried all the normal tricks still the same --and cannot record on the timer--- did notice when checking
freesat news that i have now lost ITVplayer on the back of loosing BBC player not so long back !
was thinking of updating with the purchase of the latest humax free sat
not so sure now -- disappointed
will see how they respond before my next move
shame because i always thought Humax freesat was a great product

No idea why you think freesat could be any different in Hampshire.

The problem is almost certainly freesat's problem.

Hi , Not sure if i deserved this kind of response after just joining this forum , is this a welcome ?----------------
The reason i mentioned i had the same issue in Hampshire is i thought it may help by giving my location -- no more than this ---
    Kindest regards

Looks to have been partly fixed, scheduled recording should now be working, when selecting the [i] still shows the programme from yesterday afternoon but using the up and down arrows (to check a different channel) the correct programme is then displayed, however exit and press [i] again still yesterday programme ... To fix the issue go into guide, it will then download the latest EPG, wait for it to finish downloading and everything should then be OK.

    Good News

Somehow they have sorted it all out. What a cock up? I am in the West Country.

Yep - working for me as well now (Ipswich). Info showing correct for the current program and scheduled recordings now starting.

Now just to reload the custom firemware again and re-schedule all my recording - pain, but atleast it seems to be fixed
