My (new) 1800 has a really peculiar fault .... while watching a recorded programme with subtitles and pausing, the subtitles get ahead of the picture by a few phrases ! Really odd and definitely wrong.
On coming out of "pause" to "play" things take a while to get in step.
Anybody else has had a similar problem?

Often, on ITV. It's not the box. A workaround is to stop the recording and then resume, rather than pausing.

Neither ITV nor C4 take as much care with subtitles as one could wish.
