    Hi chaps

Ive got a 4000t approx 5 years old thats been playing more & more lately.

1, it says i have no recordings but a reboot brings them back.
2, it says my hard drive is full when it`s nowhere near full so wont record. Again a reboot sorts it for awhile.
3, it fails to record the full program.

Any known fixes or is it new box time?

Anyone else had these issues? Mine somehow cured itself for 18 months but has now started playing up again. Failed recordings, Error message says hard drive 95% full when there is only half a dozen programs recorded. Cheers

It sounds to me that the file system may be corrupt. Sometimes this happens randomly or it may be a sign that the hard drive is faulty. First thing to try would be to watch the recordings and then try to format the hard drive.

    Thanks Martin

I did wonder if formatting the hard drive would be worth a try. I unplugged it last night & have just set it to record a program. If / when it fails again i`ll give that a go. Many thanks
