    But this is a YouView box. It might be made by Humax, but you can get the HDR-FOX T2 for £80 less, and it's essentially the same in terms of functionality.

    Really - possibly the most misleading observation yet as is the one about surround sound (did they actually test anything ?)

    Ive got a DTR-1000 & apart from the UI my HDR beats it hands down.

    They are supposed to be interoperable I think (subject to being the same speed), The standards are controlled by The HomePlug Alliance

    Not all home plugs are compatible with that standard. Netgear ones are not for example. Then there are the multiple speed grades, which does the STB support?

    Clearly a choice of speed would have to be made. I would not see that as a problem - Humax already sell them from Humax Direct as extra's.
