Having purchased the 5000T about 15 months ago I was disappointed to find the remote would not record programmes. Would find the relevant program but when clicking on Record Whole Series it just returned to the programme detail. Searching on Google I tried what was supposed to reset the remote without any success. Tried new batteries, again without sucess so emailed Humax which should have been my first action.
I was surprised to receive a prompt response recommending various courses of action and discocovered via Settings that an update was available. This resolved the problem and avoided the need to purchase a new remote.
