    Hi there,

I have had this box for 9 years and replaced the remote control a year ago.

My TV is programed to turn off and switch off using the remote control.

Tonight the TV would not turn off. I switched it off at the wall and removed the remotes batteries but the TV would then not turn on using the remote.

    Any ideas guys?

My humax box is switching off and on with the remote ok.

I assume you mean the remote is programmed to turn the TV off?

For some reason, the remote has forgotten that programming (is their a curious toddler or cat in the house) so you need to teach it again. I assume you *are* pressing the TV button at the top of the remote before trying the ON/OFF button?

Hi, yes I am and yes I have a two year old toddler!!

How do you teach it again? Do I have to put in the TV codes? Thing is my TV isn't on the list and I can't remember the code numbers or how to do it.

Thank you all. Re-inputting the TV code has worked and remote working again.
