Whenever I pause a screen, the On Screen Display (OSD) pops up and stays there.

As it covers probably the lower fifth of the screen, I wasn't always able to see whether the ball had crossed the line, it was a knock-on, who actually threw the first punch etc.

I found by pressing the Back button on the remote control the OSD disappears leaving a crystal clear paused display.

I hope this helps some other discerning pedants in our fight for sporting justice.

Is this getting sorted because it really winds me up. Sometimes I want to see something in detail when paused but the top and bottom are obscured. My old Humax box used to remove all the OSD after a few seconds.

The EXIT button removes the OSD from a paused screen on my old Humax machines and newer Panasonic machine, if you've got an EXIT button try that.

For the FVP-5000T the back button is a better option (as per post #1).

The back/ return yes but also the X or exit button removes the OSD.
