Could I ask for a recommended replacement for my beloved Foxsat HDR?
I live in the Dordogne, SW France - and the Foxsat has been here with me since about 2012. (We use Freesat).

It is still working fine, but now struggles on HD (most channels now) and several friends have similar difficulties. I have an 80cm dish, 4 way LNB (3 years old) and have reset the 'twist' on the LNB by about 7°. Because our dish is only a metre off the ground, adjustments are simple - all friends' dishes are roof-mounted.

Until a few months ago even heavy rain didn't affect reception much - but now even drizzle can freeze the signal.

I just don't know which model would suit us best...................

    Hello rogermunns,

I would keep your Foxsat, as it is a better pvr then all the newer models! If you look for info online, you can configure your pvr to work on various dish setups & also you have more control on the channels tuned in. Maybe ask an engineer to have a look & adjust your dish alignment if you are unable to adjust. But might be worth checking with a satfinder if you haven't already done this? John L
