I’m having difficulty getting the Samba file sharing to work with my Windows 7 PC which like the FVP is connected to my router via ethernet cable. I have turned on Samba via Settings > Advanced Settings > File Share > Samba Server ON. I’ve looked at Barry’s post on the topic but the FVP-5000T does not appear as a network location. What I get is shown in the attached jpeg. I’m guessing there is something I need to do at the Windows PC end but what? Advice and suggestions would be appreciated

IIRC you need Windows 8 or 10.

Unfortunately exactly the same problem on my Windows 10 laptop as on the Windows 7 desktop computer. I think I must be missing some obvious setting somewhere either at the Windows end or the FVP end. These seem to be the relevant FVP settings:
1. Advanced Settings > Server Management > Network Server : should it be ON/OFF ?
2. Advanced Settings > File Share > FTP Server : should it be ON/OFF ?
3. Advanced Settings > File Share > SAMBA Server : ON ... obviously !
Not sure about the 1 and 2 settings. Do I need SAMBA software on the PC ?
