My husband has just bought this humax you view dtr-t2000 and I am less than impressed! We needed a new machine to replace our PVR930 which had become unreliable. This new maching appears to have to be connected to the internet to search for a programme in order to add it to the schedule. We have a SMART TV already which of course has a wireess connection so the only benefit - if you can call it that- is that we can catchup on the ITV programmes. We also have freesat in another room. Can anyone convince me that we need this machine - at the moment we have a 15 metre ethernet cable draped across the room and I am struggling to see any benefit!
