The average signal strength on my HDR Fox T2 is 80% but over the past few days it has risen to 83%.
I know that too much signal strength can cause problems and wondered at what percentage this would occur?

No need to panic, :-), minor variations like that ocurr all the time due largely to atmospheric conditions (water vapour attenuates rf signals). Even 100% will normally be fine provided the quality (the important parameter) remains high. If you were lucky enough to live close to a high power transmitter the effect of signal overloading will be very obvious. Simple to fix just stick a cheap attenuator to the aerial downlead.
Ok won't panic! Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
