I have had a further two since my last post. I have noticed on the last two that after the reboot none of the wireless network stuff is working. I can't even scan for available devices to connect to. I have to shutdown and remove power, before it can connect to anything again. This might be a lead as to what is crashing the box. I don't have a wired connection so I don't know if it is just the wireless network stuff or all of it. This has only started to happen since the new update too.

I that case my observation might be more misleading than help.

What on earth have Humax done to my box with the new software update! Just rebooted again whilst watching a recording. This never happened before the update.

As it's not something I'm likely to use, I turned remote recording off - no more reboots since!

And I've had the box running all day as I've been catching up on recordings and watching the F1 practices

Remote recording is turned off on mine, but still two reboots, one which wrecked an active record. Humax have turned my once ultra reliable box, into the complete opposite. I just hope they are aware of the problems they have created, and put it right with an urgent update.
