Has the ill conceived forced auto retune (in 1.02.27) when the transmitter has any kind of switchover event been removed?

    Reliability improvement?
After the automatic OTA update it restarts every time when I click on my first favourite internet radio station.
I haven't tested it yet comprehensive on other radio station but I am worried.
    Any experience like this?

    I might downgrade to .20

Anyway I miss ITV Player and IPTVs too.

    Yes, it seems that
Internet Radio is DEAD for me with this "more reliable" .28 version
I can choose "any" channel (I've tried some of my Favourite and some others) and after showing "loading ..." it restarts every time.

    ... back to .20 now

How can I switch the Auto-update off?

Internet radio did work on this version, but obviously somethings gone amiss - Humax Towers are aware.

You cannot switch off auto update with standard firmware.

Make sure your box is recording something between 04:20 and 04:40 each day and it will not look for updates.

After reading some speculation elsewhere, just to be clear the update is still being broadcast at this time.

Recording from a radio channel will use up less disk space.

Setting a watch reservation will use even less

Whoever decided we need an on screen image to tell us what mode button has been pressed on the remote is a complete idiot. How annoying. One glance at the remote and its obvious - it flashes to show exactly that!

Anyone know the best way to feed this back to Humax or do they read threads here?

    Welcome to the Forum

You can send feedback in their support email addres:

    uksupport@humax-digital.co.uk

but I do not think this will change anything - why because of the number of support calls they receive where users have had the wrong device selected.

Having just got a version of the remote that gives the pop up, I do not know what all the fuss is about.
