Just been blaming my Onkyo for not producing sound only to find it is the HDR-2000T

Symptoms:-
Old recordings seem ok
Recent recording no sound.
Did a new test recording sound is ok.

I have pulled the plug and (not sure how long I should wait) powered it back up no change.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Just been checking and it seem to only effect some channels below 70.
e.g:-20,44,49,48,66,65,64,61,68.
71 and 81 are ok.

The problem is not just recordings!
I now realize that live or recordings have no sound and it seems to be some SD channels that are effected.

Hi all,
I have found the problem.
User error!

I was reading

And realised that Humax volume control must be at Max when using SD channels.
It seems that HD channels ignore the Humax volume control and use the AV amp volume.

That is how I understand it anyway.

I now have sound on CD and HD channels and now the old recordings work!
