My Humax freeview box is not recording either the start of the end of most programs, can anyone help me work out why and what I can do about it please. You haven't given much to go on.
Are you after many many suggestions and prepared to try them all?
Or you could help us to help you my giving some details to at least narrow the suggestions down.Which model of Humax?
Which software version are you on?
How do you set your recordings?
Do you use padding or auto?
Is this all programmes or just some?
Is it all channels or just some?
As it always happened or just since you last retuned?
When you do retune how do you retune?
What have you tried so far?
What have you ruled out as being the cause so far?If you do not want to give any details then what I suggest is to tune to just one transmitter and use auto apart from the channels that you record which don't support auto or don't support it to your satisfaction.

It is HUMAX PVR-9150T DIGITAL TV RECORDER FREEVIEW I set the recordings thru the programme guide. It does not happen on all programmes, sometimes it is the start it misses, others at the end. I will try and retune.

https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/week-old-9300t-and-epg-wont-fill-up-for-week#post-7097But this is just 1 possibility that could be contributing to the late starts or early endings. If you could give some details then this would take a lot of the guess work out of identifying whether or not here is a solution for your particular cause of truncation.
