    Hello rexleroy,

Welcome to the forum. I haven't the same model, but use various Humax pvrs. Try checking settings in TV section for RF function. Needs to be turned on all the time. It relates to aerial feed loop through from PVR back to TV aerial input. You will find this hopefully works. How long have you had this problem? John L

This sounds like a known feature but does not effect everyone due to the different ways that the DVR-5000T can be setup, and also the different ways that people use their TV and recorders.

When it happens to you have a recording that is going to start imminently?

Luke is correct. This is a known "feature". If your aerial goes to your Humax and then you have a lead from the Humax to TV (dare I say, the usual method) this can (or possibly, will) happen. It used to happen to me. But I no longer watch TV that way and always use the TV as a monitor and the Humax as a tuner. Bad for the environment, but good for uninterrupted viewing - except on those rare occasions where there aren't enough tuners for the recordings and viewing. This "feature" is also why my aerial is routed to a 2000T first then the 5000T and not vice-versa. Otherwise the 2000T loses signal.
