These are the problems I've had with my "graded" FVP from HumaxDirect. It's on the latest firmware.
During initial setup it didn't find channels on one mux. several manual scans later it did find them.
Once, when changing channels the display (top right of screen) showed the new channel selected but the channel didn't change.
I've had one re-boot while recording.
It randomly switches on.
It appears to be in recording standby sometimes when it should be off. It comes straight on with no disc start up noise.
I'm currently trying different setting to see if they make any difference to the last two.
Other than these problems and the fact that, compared to an HDR-FOX T2, it's operation is awkward I do quite like it. And it was only £139 plus delivery.
