Transfer from Freesat 1100 to Freesat 4K

HI,
My Freesat 1100 recently died (attempted start up, power is being fed but nothing comes on) if the power stage is fried can I transfer the hard drive into an external storage box and then transfer the recorded programs into a new box (say a Freesat 4K 1Tb)?

Sadly no because the recordings are encrypted and will only play on the original box see https://www.burningimage.net/humaxusb/
