I have four programs on disc that I have no need for, but I cannot delete them, as they are inaccessible. I am getting totally confused, because I don't recall having locked or protected them.

I have tried various likely codes, but zilch!

Can I get out of the problem? Please

That was the first tried, but did not work, so I tried other 4 digit combinations that would have significance for myself.

Vaguely I have an idea there may be a hidden menu somewhere that might be useful. Is there?

With password reset to 0000 I managed to get lock symbol removed from individual files, but still can't delete, as showing as protected and a no entry to bin symbol is on series folder.

Any idea what next to complete deletion? Please!

    Press Opt+ button
    Select File Manager
    Highlight the protected folder
    Press Blue Function button
    Select Protect/Release
    Enter passcode to unprotect.

An alternative is to use the File Manager to move the files out of the protected folder and then you can delete them as normal.
