I recently purchased a Humax HDR-1800T. I am very pleased with its operation except for one oddity.

When I set up programme recordings for 2 channels, which will actually be transmitted at the same time, I am able to watch a third channel without problem. However, if I have switched off the television and subsequently returned at a later time, if the Humax is still recording the two programmes I am unable to get the sound on the third channel although I can receive the picture.

I am currently using a Panasonic TX L32 E30B television linked to the Humax.

What software version is the Humax running please (Menu Button> Settings> System> System information)?
