Last time i looked at upgrading the HDD WD Greens 2TB seem to be the one to use but for the life of me i can't find these on WD site to get a model number, in fact all i could find was 5 or 6TB versions, can anyone shed any light on the model number or do they even make 2TB ones anymore

The drive should be a AV drive rather than the standard green.
Rather hard to locate on WD's redone site.

Should be able to find them as either AV/GP or search for one of the model numbers WD10EURX.

You will need to fit a jumper (not supplied) on pins 5 and 6 to select a 1.5 Gb/s transfer speed.
    See http://support.wdc.com/knowledgebase/answer.aspx?ID=981

    The 2TB drive is WD20EURX.

To use a 2TB drive in a Foxsat-hdr the drive has to be formatted (EXT3) and partitioned externally. The Foxsat only has built in automatic install for drives up to 1TB. If using a 1TB after install and before recording, make the music/photo partition the minimum size to maximise space for recordings (elect to format both partitions).

You did note from the link above that you need to create and format 4 partitions on the disk?
