Now into my eighties I don’t do “smart” equipment any more as my brain can no longer cope with the constantly changing technology.
Apart from the initial “sound” problem, my 2000T has always performed perfectly, fulfilling every function I bought it for.
Sorry to hear that yours didn’t!
Vin BlancI haven't quite reached your age, but I dislike the term "smart" when applied to any equipment. Smart they are not!
My 2000T has worked well for however long I've had it, apart from the missing "wide" function on the remote - which wouldn't work properly even if it was there. I'd certainly consider buying another 2000T/1800T as a replacement - although the possible use of laptop size drives in 1800Ts might make me think again.
There really is no answer to that.
