I have a new 1800T which was working fine but today I find the volume is greatly decreased.
I have to turn the number up to 100 to hear it at all and normally I listen at around 30 on my remote.
When I switch to internet or just the TV there is no problem.
As I have only just bought this Humax I really don't want to have to go to the trouble of returning it so soon.
Any ideas please?
Many thanks

Humax boxes analogue audio (and digital pcm ) are volume controlled by the box remote control. Normally you would turn up the volume to near max and use the TV volume control. If you are using a TV for the audio turn off the surround (multi-channel) in the box TV and Audio setup menu. That way HD and SD channels will have the same levels.

Thanks - your post gave me an idea...
I had inadvertently pressed the down button on the volume control on the Humax remote control. I never normally touch this - it must have happened by accident.
That was the cause - relief
Thanks for your help Graham.
