I have transferred items from FVP4000T to external hard drive, which were recorded in SD.

They will not play back if I attach to an older HDR FoxT2.

The external drive is formatted either FAT32 or NTFS - and is at least 5 years old.

Is there any way of overcoming this problem?

    TIA

Is both your boxes connected to your home network ? If so I will try viewing a SD recording made on my 5000T on a HDR-FOX-T2 tomorrow.

Have you transferred just the .ts file or all the additional files for a recording? If you have all the files then try deleting the additional files leaving just the .ts file and see if it plays then (the additional files are in a different format on the two machines).

Streaming SD from a 4000 or 5000T to HDR T2 works.

I can confirm Barry's post. Streaming SD from a FVP-5000T to a HDR-FOX-T2 works and so does streaming SD from a FVP-5000T to a HDR-1000S.

    Hi

Thanks for your replies. The T2 is at a different address. I have just been using the copy/move function on the 4000 and then selected the USB.
