My new 2000T shows signal strength of only 10%. A manual search showed the same. My TV and the previous Humax show 55-60%. Is my box faulty or is this a characteristic of this model? Is there anything I can do? And will I have the same problem every time there is a search for new channels?

My signal strength regularly shows 20%. As long as the quality is 100% I wouldn't worry too much.

The software version is UKTFAC 1.00.07. Is there something later?
Re the previous response, I checked the signal strength because the picture was/is constantly freezing. I see the Humax manual recommends a minimum of 30%. So I do need to worry.

I've just upgraded the software and my signal strength is now universally 40-50%.

Thank you, both. Having upgraded the software my signal strength is now averaging 60%. Hopefully plain sailing from here on.
