    Greetings,

Firstly, thanks to all here who have contributed to the custom firmware for the FoxsatHDR.

I had the custom firmware all set up nicely - then the HDD had a problem which required physical removal and reformatting. Reinstalling and rebuilding all my settings has taken a measurable time interval, so...

    1) Is there a list of folders which I could backup (via the web or samba interface) periodically to save my configuration should I have another disk failure on the Foxsat? (I'm guessing opt on partition 4 for starters).

    2) The extremely useful FAQs in the documentation section (only accessible if your box is working...) which is a definitive distillation of the advice on this forum and elsewhere - could this be made available as a standalone download or via the interweb so that it would be accessible when the box is DOA?

You may not have had a reply yet due to discussions on the foxsat custom firmware has been traditionally on https://www.avforums.com/forums/satellite-tv-sky-tv-freesat.259/

That sit eis a bit unweildly and so many post on a sub-forum of hummy.tv
    https://hummy.tv/forum/forums/foxsat-hdr-customised-firmware.38/

At the start of the foxsat Hummy.tv forum there is a sticky post with links to the key avforums.com discussions and a bit more.

About the same time that you posted on this site there was also ab account with the name COGVOS set up on hummy.tv.
I suspect one solution would be to FTP into the foxsat to export what you want to a PC. If I were you, if I couldn't work out how to do that, I'd ask on there.
